JD is a transgender butch from Atlanta, GA. “To teach is to learn twice” is a saying he has taken to heart, and he enjoys teaching large and small events from one end of the country to the other. He has taught classes on waxplay, fisting, butch/femme dynamics, SM safety, piercing, straight-edge shaving and singletails. Whips remain his primary passion, and since cracking his first signal whip in 1998, he has found all manner of excuses to justify new singletail purchases, such as “it’s so pretty!” and “I haven’t bought one in 3 months!”

In addition to teaching, JD can sometimes be found playing bass guitar with his 80’s cover band, Group Sex, or cuddling with his chihuahua, Killer. Though JD likes both ends of the whip, his masochistic streak has been mostly limited to grad school, where he is earning a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics.
